Ina, this is Mark Anastos. Otto worked with me and my family at Arjon Mfg Corp around 1992 or so; can't quite remember the dates. We were in Hillside NJ. I had such high respect for Otto while working with him and also after he left us. I just now came upon his departing news and I want to send you my love and let you know how much I respected Otto. He was a true good human being. He will be truly missed by me. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org I just now, July 20th 2016 learned of this while doing a search for him. I am so very sorry for you. He was a very good man!!!!

To the family of Otto Prestfelder I worked for Otto for 12 years at H&P Mayer. Otto is one of the finest merchants I have ever had the pleasure to know. There are dozens of salesmen in the industry today who owe much of their success to Otto. I often quote Otto, his words of wisdom will echo in my thoughts forever My condolences , a great loss to all Geoffrey Way Lifetime Brands Inc

Otto was a great man. He always had time to mentor me when any life or business situation posed a dilemma for me. Once, when I asked him about what to do in a situation he summed up a great way to make important decisions. He told me to remember that one day a room full of people will gather to discuss your life and what you did in it. He told me to make sure that all my choices gave those people only good things to say. Otto walked the walk. In our modern world of shifting values and moral relativism his values were rock solid and he was a total and complete mensch in every sense of the word. His wisdom and friendship will be sorely missed. My condolences to his wife and all his family. He always talked about the family as it was the centerpiece of his life and the source of so much pride and joy. I revered this man and only distance keeps me from attending his service. The lessons and love he shared will assure his presence among us all for a long time.
