Margaret and I met as parent coordinators of similar Upper West Side schools. I was drawn to her sharp wit and unique sense of humor and knew we would become friends. We shared our work lives but mostly our experiences of being mothers. She spoke often of her children and her devotion to them was evident in all of our conversations. I miss Margaret very much. My sincere condolences to Brian, Olivia and her entire family.

My memories of PS 87 will forever be tied to my memories of Margaret. As a mom bringing her child to kindergarten for the first time, it made all the difference in the world to have a kind-hearted parent coordinator. When my twins started school a few years later I again looked forward to interacting with Margaret. She was a help to so many and treated us all with respect. I will never forget her.

Margaret was funny and honest and wise. I'm very grateful that our paths crossed in our jobs as Parent Coordinators and that we got to become friends, even if it was for far too short a time. We often shared our experiences as moms and I know she loved her kids very much. I miss her and will remember her. My condolences to her entire family.

Ricki, Lindsay and I remember Margret very fondly as a warm.loving, thoughtful person with a wonderful sense of humor. She was a big part of our lives as Lindsay and Olivia grew up,became good friends, and attended P.S. 87 together. Margret and Ricki became fast friends as well. I remember sledding down the steep hill near W 88th street with the delighted girls, and fun times all had in Riverside and Central Park. The passing years do not lesson the memory of Margret or our deep sadness at her passing. May the love we feel for Margret, Olivia, Brian and Lannie help to ease your pain.
