To my Dear Friend, I had the immense privilege to meet you at Nacel Open Door 20 years ago or so. I am so sad today but I will remember our meetings and conversations : I have learnt so much from you about life : You taught me a lot. I also know and appreciate how much I owe you - and through you to all the soldiers- who came here to free my parents and offered me the chance to live in freedom all my life. I will miss the cigar , I will miss your empathy, your wisdom, your smile. We have shared very good moments thanks to Nacel Open Door that I will never forget. Au revoir Arnold, avec un immense respect et une profonde et sincère admiration. I send my deepest sympathy to the family Gerard Avundo Nacel Open Door Board Member

When you meet Arnold Franco, you immediately know you are in the presence of someone truly special...someone who lives each day with purpose....who approaches challenges with enthusiasm...and treats everyone he meets with kindness. I will greatly miss his love of tennis, his e-mails, calls, photos from the Veterans Day parades and most of all - his friendship. A life well lived is one that will never be forgotten.
