SUBOTNICK--Anita, passed away on June 18th. She loved her family, above all else, and was devoted to them. Grandchildren Ian, Livia, Maya and Charli and children, son, Bryan, and his wife, Heather, and daughter, Paula, and her husband, Adam, filled her life. However, she was never far apart from her husband of 52 years, Stuart Subotnick. Together, they worked to benefit society through their foundations and generous contributions to charitable organizations which they sponsored, often anonymously, for many years. Anita's love for life could be seen through her passion for thoroughbred horses. She enjoyed racing, a sport she became aware of through her beloved father, Irving. She met Stuart while they were both in high school, in Brooklyn, and was with him through many years of hard work and lucky breaks. Over the course of their lives, together, they lived as one. She will be deeply missed by all. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 21st at 10am at Riverside Memorial Chapel, Amsterdam Avenue and West 76th Street, New York, NY. Donations can be made to Autism Speaks, 1 E. 33rd Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
