KASTER-Lewis Ross (April 14, 1932 to November 12, 2015) of Forest Hills, New York. Our devoted father, loving grandfather, and friend “Lew,” passed away on November 12, 2015. His distinguished career as a leading real estate and tax attorney commenced following his 1954 graduation from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and later served as a member of the Adjunct Faculty. Career highlights included service in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps and serving as a partner in several law firms before retiring as of Counsel at Bryan Cave LLP. Pre-deceased by his wife, Carol (née Goodz), he is survived by daughters Stephanie Blair Kaster and Rachel Kaster Fraser, her husband Ezra Fraser, and grandchildren Sophie and Bennett Orenstein. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 16 at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 West 76 Street, New York, New York. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chai Lifeline (www.chailifeline.org).
