Born in Buffalo NY to Seymore and Marcel Beck. Received his PhD & taught philosophy at the University of Chicago. He was the Residence Director at The Bridge, NYC, 11 years. Beloved therapist, supervisor, teacher, writer. Survived by his children, Katrina & Sam, sister Beth and four grandchildren. His contribution to psychoanalysis & philosophy will continue in the lives he touched.
