GOLD, Gerald of Manhattan and Westhampton Beach, NY, died on February 25 after a brave struggle with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson’s Disease at the age of 77. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, eldest son of the late Morris and Edith Feldman Gold. He is survived by his beloved wife Judith Witryol Gold, loving daughter Allison Gold, brother Rabbi Aaron Gold (Esther) and several nieces and nephews. He moved to NYC in 1965 to become a securities analyst at Hallgarten & Co. and rose to Director of Research at companies including NY Life Insurance, Brown Brothers Harriman and Deutsche Morgan Grenfell. He was a CFA and past member of the Board of Directors of the New York Society of Securities Analysts. He was also a member of the Union League Club of NY and The Surf Club of Quogue.
