Martin Trugerman, beloved family man, good friend, world traveler, and textile leader died on January 14, 2017 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. Martin received the award of meritorious service, during the Korean War and was proud to serve his country. Martin received his B.S. from New York University, where he met his lifelong “sweetheart.” Marty had a long established career in menswear, designing and selling fabrics to some of the industry’s iconic manufactures of his time. Through his work and for pleasure Marty enjoyed traveling the globe, in particular to Asia before some locations were open to American tourism. He is survived by his devoted wife, son, daughter, their spouses, and five loving grandchildren. .
